I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems . . .Elton John, a member of the Western world's secular-progressive pantheon, is obviously a perverted S-I-C-K-O. Jesus was happy--not gay. Jesus was compassionate and he understood human problems--he did not sleep with men. Jesus also encouraged us to "hunger and thirst for righteousness"--not tolerate sinful lifestyles.
I usually adopt a "live and let live" attitude when it comes to those practicing alternative lifestyles. However, when they try to convince others of their misunderstandings of Jesus, rebuttal becomes necessary.
Elton John will be holding a concert at the American Bank Center on April 6, 2010. I will not be attending.
