My brother Scott was quick to point out the uncanny resemblance between President Obama's Supreme Court nominee, Elena Kagan, to Kathy Bates--the sledge hammer wielding psychopath who broke James Caan's ankles in the movie Misery. Good call, Brother Scott! The whole confirmation dog and pony show should be about as disgusting as a Stephen King novel.
