Alcoholism At Its Finest

Ahh, weekends in Corpus Christi. I guess this would classify as a "bottoming out" experience.

Woman Stops To Relieve Self, Falls Off JFK Causeway, Corpus Christi Police Say: Husband Flags Down Police To Help After 15-foot Fall

CORPUS CHRISTI — A 42-year-old woman was taken to the hospital Thursday after falling off the JFK Causeway during a bathroom break, Corpus Christi police said.

An officer driving east on the causeway about 1:18 a.m. saw a man frantically pacing next to a car parked on the westbound side of the road.

The 52-year-old man said his 42-year-old wife had fallen more than 15 feet off the side of the bridge.

The man told police his wife had been drinking and asked that he pull the car over so she could relieve herself.

The woman climbed over the railing and fell onto some rocks, landing in about four inches of water, police said.

Officers climbed down to assist the woman and found her unresponsive.

Emergency responders brought the woman back up onto the road using a backboard and a long extension ladder.

She was taken to Christus Spohn Hospital Memorial for injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.

Safe Sex: An Alternative

I am not sure what to say about this one:

Man Caught with Pants Down and an Armless Mannequin in Public Park

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man is behind bars for committing "lewd acts" with a mannequin in a public park Sunday morning.

According to the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department, 61-year-old Eddie M. Campbell from Belle was caught at Booker T. Washington Memorial Park in Malden with his shirt off and his pants around his ankles.

Deputies say Campbell was sitting on a park bench with an armless mannequin on his lap, holding it with one hand -- pleasuring himself with the other.

When the deputy identified himself, Campbell stopped, pushed the mannequin off him and pulled his pants up.

All of this happened in a residential area and close to a church, according to Deputies.

Campbell has been charged with indecent exposure. He gave up his right to have an attorney represent him during arraignment

Campbell is in the South Central Jail on a $2,500 cash only bond.
Look on the bright side: At least there was not another human being (like a child) involved. Sick! Sick! Sick!

Back To School

This is cool:
The yellow American-style school bus has been fitted with a jet engine from a Phantom fighter plane, allowing it to reach up to 367mph.

Paul Stender and his team from Indy Boys Inc, based in Indianapolis, USA adapted the bus which uses a full tank of 150 gallons of fuel in just one quarter-mile. Mr Stender's creation, which he has dubbed 'The School Time Jet-Powered School Bus', also fires out 80 foot flames from the back creating massive clouds of smoke.

Mr Stender, 43, said: "I built the bus for two reasons. The first is to entertain people because, come on, it's a jet bus.

"The second, is to keep kids off drugs. Jets are hot, drugs are not.

"The entire vehicle was custom built by myself. There's no way the original bus could have withstood the speeds that I take it to.

You Are A Unique Person

I always knew we were all unique. This LiveScience.com article demonstrates just how special we all really are.
Your Poop Is Unique: Gut Viruses Different in Every Person

By LiveScience Staff

Like a fingerprint, the virus communities in the human gut are unique to each individual. Even identical twins have very different collections of viruses colonizing their lower intestines.

This is in contrast to bacterial communities, which are similar in related individuals, the researchers say. (While bacteria can live and reproduce on their own, viruses consist of genetic material packaged inside a capsule structure and can only reproduce inside a host.)

The study sheds light on the largely unexplored world of viruses living in the lower intestine. Most of these "friendly" viruses, which don't cause diseases, make their home inside bacteria already living in the gut. These viruses are thought to influence the activities of gut microbes, which among their other benefits, allow us to digest certain components of our diets, such as plant-based carbohydrates, that we can't digest on our own.

Out Of Control Liberals

Remember when liberals use to use slogans like "Don't trust the government" and "Don't trust anyone over the age of 30"? Well, it is obvious that the liberals don't only love big government, they, in fact, worship big government.
