Easter Is Good News For Pets, Too

Many children after just a couple of years of Sunday School begin to contemplate the concept of eternity. Then, shortly after this, the ineveitable question arises: Will my dog (or cat) be in heaven when I get there?

Well, according to this article, there is a strong possibility that animals will be joining us in heaven:

One of the most frequently asked questions online is, “Do pets go to heaven?” Heaven and the afterlife are primarily religious concepts, and many of the world’s religions do provide answers.

Christianity holds that every living being, from the tiniest insect to the largest whale, has a chance at entering the pearly gates. Psalm 145:-9-10,13,15-21 reads, “God loves all His creation and has made plans for all His children and the lesser creatures to enjoy His eternal Kingdom.”

Perry Pushing Back

Governor Perry: OBAMACARE IS A DISASTER

President Barack Obama's signature on Congress's disastrous health care plan was a disappointment to everyone who values limited government, bipartisanship and quality and affordable health care.

In forcing the bill through, congressional leaders from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on down substituted their own desires and political goals for the good judgment and common sense of the people they represent. Indeed, the more the American people learned about the socialist proposals, the more they rejected them.

Being leader of the largest of the "red states" and having an ego as big as his state, Governor Perry is the defacto leader of the movement to protect the 10th Amendment--Federalism--against the Obama regime.

KFC's Double Down

Here is a picture of Kentucky Fried Chicken's new Double Down sandwich. It is a bacon and cheese sandwich that uses two pieces of boneless fried chicken as "bread."

The sandwich will be available in two forms. The Original Recipe sandwich will set you back about 540 calories, 32g of fat and 1380mg of sodium. The not-as-bad-for-you Grilled Double Down totals 460 calories, 23g of fat and 1430mg of sodium.

Trish Frazier with Bay Area Fellowship told us, "Our overall goal is for them to get blessed and receive something really awesome but it's also to have the chance to spread the message of Christ and plant a seed in our hearts tonight."

And after much anticipation, the first winner of a beautiful BMW was announced, and Cathy Claveria could hardly contain her excitement. She told us she'd been driving her Jeep for the last 16 years and considered the win a blessing.
